Terms & Conditions
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Livestock Farms USA website, mobile interfaces, and all associated services (collectively, the “Platform”), as well as any purchase of livestock or livestock-related products from Livestock Farms USA (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Farm”).
By visiting our website, submitting a contact or custom order form, making a payment, or otherwise engaging with our business, you (“you,” “the Buyer,” or “the Customer”) confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of Livestock Farms USA, whether purchasing online, by telephone, by email, or in person at the farm.
About Our Business
Livestock Farms USA is a family-owned and operated livestock farm located in the United States, in business since 1987. We specialize in the direct-to-customer sale of pasture-raised cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, and horses to individuals, homesteads, other farms, and commercial operations across the 48 contiguous states.
We are USDA certified and operate in full compliance with all applicable federal and state agricultural, livestock transport, and animal welfare regulations.
All interstate livestock transport is conducted in accordance with USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) regulations. Health certificates and Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVIs) are issued for all applicable shipments.
Products & Livestock Sales
All livestock listed on our website or communicated via email, telephone, or in person is subject to prior sale, availability, and health clearance at time of order. Listings are updated as frequently as possible, but we do not guarantee that any particular animal remains available at the time of your inquiry.
Each animal listing includes, to the best of our ability, accurate information regarding breed, age, weight, sex, health status, and any available registration or documentation. However, minor variations in weight and age estimates may occur due to the nature of live animals.
- All animals are pasture-raised on open land and receive no synthetic growth hormones or routine prophylactic antibiotics.
- All animals undergo a pre-sale veterinary health inspection and are cleared by our on-farm licensed veterinarian before being offered for sale.
- Breeding stock may include registration papers from recognized breed associations where applicable and available.
- We reserve the right to withdraw any animal from sale at any time prior to confirmed payment if health or welfare concerns arise.
Custom Orders
Livestock Farms USA accepts custom orders for specific breeds, ages, weights, sexes, quantities, or combinations of livestock not currently listed on our website. Custom orders are subject to the following conditions:
- Lead Time: Custom orders typically require 2 to 6 weeks to fulfill, depending on availability, breed, and specifications. Lead times are confirmed at the time of order acceptance.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 25–50% of the agreed order value) is required to reserve animals for a custom order. The deposit amount will be communicated and agreed upon in writing before any payment is taken.
- Balance Due: The remaining balance is due in full prior to delivery or collection of the animals. No animals will be released until full payment is received and cleared.
- Order Confirmation: All custom order terms — including species, breed, quantity, specifications, price, lead time, and deposit — will be confirmed in writing via email before any agreement is considered binding.
- Cancellation by Buyer: If a custom order is cancelled by the Buyer after the deposit has been paid, the deposit is forfeited. We will make reasonable efforts to re-sell the reserved animals but are not obligated to refund any deposit under any circumstances.
Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on our website or communicated by our team are listed in US Dollars (USD) and represent the per-head price of the animal unless otherwise stated. Delivery fees, where applicable, are calculated separately based on the Buyer’s location and order size, and are disclosed before any payment is requested.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- ACH bank transfer (preferred for large orders)
- Certified or cashier’s check (for in-person or large-volume transactions)
- Wire transfer (for orders above $10,000 USD)
We do not accept cash for remote transactions. All payments are processed through secure, encrypted systems. Prices are subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed in writing. Sales tax may apply depending on applicable state regulations at time of sale.
Important: Livestock Farms USA will never request payment via cryptocurrency, gift cards, or wire transfers to personal accounts. If you receive such a request claiming to be from us, please contact us immediately at hello@livestockfarmsusa.com.
Delivery & Transport
Livestock Farms USA offers direct farm delivery to all 48 contiguous United States. Delivery to Alaska and Hawaii may be available for select species and orders — please contact us to discuss options for those locations prior to placing an order.
All livestock transport is conducted in full compliance with USDA and APHIS interstate livestock transport regulations. Our transport team is trained in low-stress animal handling practices and uses properly ventilated, climate-appropriate trailers.
- Health Documentation: All transported animals will be accompanied by a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) and applicable vaccination records as required by the destination state.
- Access Requirements: The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery property has adequate facilities for safe unloading of livestock. This includes appropriate fencing, holding areas, and water access.
- Risk Transfer: Risk of loss or injury to the animals transfers to the Buyer at the point of unloading at the delivery destination, or at the point of collection if the Buyer is collecting from our farm.
- Delivery Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by weather, road conditions, regulatory inspections, or other events beyond our reasonable control. We will communicate any delays promptly.
Animal Health & Warranties
We take pride in the health and quality of every animal we sell. All animals are inspected by our licensed on-farm veterinarian prior to sale and are certified as healthy and fit for transport at the time of shipping.
We warrant that, at the time of delivery, each animal will:
- Be of the breed, sex, and approximate age and weight described in the sale agreement
- Have received the vaccinations and treatments documented in the health records provided
- Be free from any known contagious or notifiable disease at time of veterinary inspection
- Have been raised without synthetic growth hormones or routine prophylactic antibiotics
- Be accompanied by a valid Certificate of Veterinary Inspection where required by law
Limitations: Our health warranty does not cover conditions that arise after the risk of the animal has transferred to the Buyer, conditions resulting from stress during or after transport and integration, pre-existing conditions that were disclosed in writing prior to sale, or normal variations in weight, growth rate, or behavior that fall within the accepted ranges for the species and breed.
We strongly recommend that the Buyer have all newly acquired animals examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48–72 hours of delivery. Early examination helps identify any transit-related stress conditions and establishes a health baseline for your records.
Returns & Replacements
Due to the nature of live animals, all sales are considered final once the animal has been accepted by the Buyer at the point of delivery or collection. We do not accept returns of live animals after the risk has transferred.
However, if an animal arrives in a condition that is materially and substantially different from what was agreed upon in writing, the following process applies:
- Notification Window: The Buyer must contact us within 24 hours of delivery with written notice, photographs, and a veterinary assessment if possible. Claims submitted after this window will not be considered.
- Our Review: We will review all documented claims in good faith and respond within 3 business days. We may request additional documentation or a third-party veterinary assessment.
- Remedies: At our sole discretion, we may offer a replacement animal, a store credit, or a partial or full refund depending on the nature and severity of the issue. We will work in good faith to reach a fair resolution.
- Exclusions: Claims arising from the Buyer’s failure to provide adequate facilities, improper handling after delivery, integration stress, disease contracted after delivery, or any condition disclosed prior to sale are excluded from our returns and replacement policy.
Buyer Responsibilities
By purchasing livestock from Livestock Farms USA, the Buyer acknowledges and accepts the following responsibilities:
- The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the purchase and keeping of the specified livestock is legal under all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws and regulations at the delivery location.
- The Buyer is responsible for obtaining any permits, licenses, or zoning approvals required to keep livestock at their property prior to placing an order.
- The Buyer is responsible for providing adequate housing, fencing, feed, water, and veterinary care for all animals from the point of delivery or collection.
- The Buyer agrees to comply with all applicable animal welfare laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.
- The Buyer assumes full responsibility for any injury, damage, or liability arising from the animals after the transfer of risk.
- The Buyer agrees not to misrepresent the animals purchased from Livestock Farms USA in any resale, breeding, or commercial transaction.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Livestock Farms USA, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to the purchase, delivery, or use of any livestock or services provided by us.
Our total aggregate liability to the Buyer, for any and all claims arising from a single transaction, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Buyer for that specific order.
We are not liable for losses arising from: events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or pandemic-related disruptions); the Buyer’s failure to comply with their stated responsibilities; or the Buyer’s reliance on information provided on our website that may have become inaccurate due to changes in availability or market conditions.
